Technical Assistance to the Permanent Secretary for Public-Private Dialogue Regarding Partnership Opportunities

Technical Assistance to the Secretary was provided regarding opportunities for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). EKWA established a strategy and action plan for the establishment of PPP projects which would contribute to the economic development and well-being of Burundi.

Specific assistance included the drafting of laws pertaining to Public-Private Partnership, the proposal of a program to improve the institutional capacity of the Permanent Secretary, and the arranging of provisional meetings between government departments in order to facilitate partnership on PPP issues.
